All new site requests are now being processed with the latest Cascade theme!
Here’s what this means for you:
Training for ALL NEW USERS is required in order to access any sites in Cascade CMS (regardless of version). Existing users of the legacy theme are not required to take the training, but are highly encouraged to*, especially those considering migrating to the "new theme" in the near future.
To enroll in training, file the Request Website Access Form using the link below. When your request ticket is filed, you will be assigned a course to complete on Canvas. Training is self-timed, and we are not notified until the next business day of your completion. You will then receive an email notification of the request ticket closing, confirmation that your account is setup, and login instructions to Cascade.
*Existing users are welcome to file the form and add a note that they would like to enroll in the course. :)
There is now a new Practice Sandbox, which is a non-live site inside NMSU's Cascade environment, that users can use while they work through the training process (reading the basic training guide and working through the modules).
Using the Practice Sandbox is not required, but recommended to users who would like to practice in a mockup site, and follow along with the training. Request access to this sandbox by filling out the Access form above and adding a note that you would like access to the Practice Site. Doing this first ensures your access will be ready when you engage in the training!
